I went to an auction this morning because they had several sewing machines. I bid on a Viking Interlude 445. The winning bid was $200, and I would have had to go to $225. The machine was used very little, and was well worth more than $200, but I just didn't want to go higher. I have a Viking Lily 545 which has been a wonderful machine; just wanted the other one as a backup.
I did end up bidding on and buying an old Singer with the wooden round top case. Very nice machine in great condition.
I love auctions, don't you?

Welcome!
Welcome to my new blog: Life at Meadowcreek
We live on part (15 acres) of an old farm with meadows and a creek; hence the name. We have spent the past 7 years completely re-doing this old house, inside and out. I enjoy flower gardening (especially perennials), spending time with family, quilting, traveling, etc. So I'll be chatting about those things plus anything else that pops into my head. I hope you will enjoy spending some time here.
